About Me...

Coming from a long line of seamstresses and artists who have traditionally worked with embroidery, beading, fringe and deer hide, I am proud to carry on my family tradition.

EARTHLINE Contemporary Aboriginal Fashions are designed for the contemporary woman, man and child. People of today demand versatile clothes for their busy schedule that satisfy their aesthetic and creative needs. They are ready-to-wear, or specialty, one-of-a-kind designs are currently marketed throughout British Columbia, Canada, Europe and several pieces are owned and displayed at the Museum of Civilization in Hull, Quebec.

EARTHLINE garments are available in quality fabrics and designs that flatter the figure and reflect a marvelous combination of design, art and comfort. Accentuated by decorative artwork techniques that reflects Nlaka'pamux traditions and legends applied through different techniques such as embroidery, applique, cut work, air brush, stencil, silk screen, beadwork, fringe, feathers, and shells.

Nlha7kápmx

Shannon Kilroy was named New Designer of the Year by the Interior Indian Friendship Society in 1993 and was chosen by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade to tour Germany. She draws her inspiration from the traditional clothing and images of the Nlha7kápmx Nation. The colours of the silks and linens she uses reflect the landscape of the Plateau, and the beads, feathers and buckskin decorations recall traditional ornaments. Her newest themes are drawn from the legends of her people.
